Bonfiglio appointment strengthens ClinPhone operational team

- May 24, 2002 Intelligent clinical technology specialist ClinPhone Inc has appointed a new Clinical Project Coordinator to help deliver its market-leading solutions to a growing number of clients within the pharmaceutical industry. Cynthia Bonfiglio - from Highlands, New Jersey - will liase with clients with regard to services contracted from ClinPhone, making certain deadlines, budgets and performance requirements are met. She will work closely with ClinPhone's industry-leading technical team to ensure all systems are designed according to client specifications. She will also be responsible for ensuring all 'live' systems for her clients are fully operational, efficient and effective throughout the life of the trial. Cynthia has over nine years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spending the first six years carrying out research in anti-fungal treatments. She followed this with over three years in clinical research where she coordinated early phase clinical trials. During this time, she gained valuable experience in data management processes and database design - an area of special interest that ultimately helped point the way towards ClinPhone, the leading specialist provider of electronic trial management (ETM) services. "I am very interested in electronic data collection and also have experience in the drug development process, including knowledge of practices and procedures and an understanding of what pharmaceutical companies require from these areas," she explained. "I am looking forward to applying this knowledge to my new position within ClinPhone's fast-changing environment, and I believe the greatest challenge will be to adjust my mindset from that of client to that of supplier, but it will definitely be a worthwhile transition."
