ClinPhone Enhances Statistics And Special Projects Team

ClinPhone Group, the worlds leading specialist provider of Electronic Trial Management solutions for global clinical trials, has appointed Damian McEntegart as Statistics and Special Projects Manager for it's expanding client facing team.
Damian will be responsible for managing the newly created Statistics and Special Projects team at ClinPhone's Nottingham headquarters, which advises clients on medication management and randomisation techniques and ensures the correct implementation of defined methodology. Damian will also undertake a secondary role acting as an external and internal consultant for ad hoc issues regarding statistics and data collection.
Damian, from Grantham in Lincolnshire, has worked as a Chartered Statistician and data manager in the pharmaceutical industry for over 18 years. He has also authored and co-authored 25 scientific publications on technical methods, processes and clinical trial reports.
Before joining ClinPhone Damian was Head of Statistics and Data Management for Knoll UK for five years. Previously to Knoll he also worked as a statistician in Universities, local authorities and the pharmaceutical industry.
In his new role, Damian will be challenged with identifying process improvements and enhancements to his client service area.
Commenting on his new appointment, he said. "This new department will play an important part in ClinPhone's continued success. Our objective is to contribute to ClinPhone's client advice service on medication management strategies, monitor supply progress throughout trials and identifying opportunities to incorporate statistical techniques into this area."
