ClinPhone Hosts e-Clinical Trials Workshop in Cannes

- August 22, 2002 Integration the focus of pre conference workshop at 3rd Annual E-Clinical Trials event Electronic Clinical Trial Management specialist the ClinPhone Group is to lead the major pre-conference workshop at the 3rd Annual E-Clinical Trials conference at Cannes this September. The company is hoping to attract key clinical and IT personnel, pharmaceutical and biotech organisations to the workshop on Monday September 9th - focussing on the benefits of integration in the e-clinical trial management process. The workshop will be chaired by ClinPhone Group Director of Marketing and Business Development, Patrick Hughes, who explained: "The objective is to demonstrate the benefit and effectiveness of a single source solution delivered through the integration of proven technologies such as Interactive Voice Response, Electronic Data Capture and Clinical Trial Management software. "With a growing number of providers, there are more and more situations where these technology pieces are being used in isolation with conflicting and duplicate data, often resulting in information inefficiency. Integration holds the key to improved process and information management. "The potential power of the combined data sources will be explained in this fully interactive workshop. Application led demonstrations will show the complete technology jigsaw and how it should knit together perfectly within the existing clinical trial process. For many, this will be the first time they will have seen how the whole process can and should be integrated." ClinPhone's partners at the workshop will include FW Pharma Systems, PhaseForward and InfoPro Solutions. The workshop itself will include three sessions examining clinical trial supplies management, clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture.
