More Strength In Depth For ClinPhone Project Management Team
- August 19, 2002
ClinPhone Group has further expanded its industry leading project team with the appointment of two new Clinical Project Managers - Claire Rodley and Barry O'Gorman - at its UK headquarters in Nottingham.
ClinPhone is now the industry leader in the clinical trials solutions used to capture electronic data and manage global clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry.
The new project managers will be the major points of contact for study sponsors and will work closely with them and ClinPhone's internal team of technicians and programmers to ensure the delivery of all projects to the correct specification, on time and within budget. Having overseen this operational process themselves, both Claire and Barry will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all systems and programmes.
Rodley's career began as a data manager for a clinical research organisation in 1996 on a number of international clinical trials before a two-year period between 1999 and 2001 working as a team leader and project manager for studies.
O'Gorman completed his degree in 1999 and started work as an ECG and Holter diagnostics specialist for eResearchTechnology, before becoming a project manager within the same organisation. More recently, he has worked as a senior project specialist for a company providing interactive voice response services. Progress to this important role within ClinPhone has been quick, and he is looking forward to the challenge.
"My career has progressed quickly since graduating in 1999, and my duties and responsibilities have also expanded," he explained. "But I have learned many invaluable skills and expanded my knowledge of the clinical research industry and am looking forward to coming into contact with a whole new spectrum of clients."
And looking forward to her new role within the industry leader, Rodley added: " I am familiar with the clinical trial process and am used to working to demanding and tight deadlines within a team and with pharmaceutical companies as clients, so that will be something I will be familiar with.
"Entering the fast-moving electronic data capture arena with the industry leader is an exciting challenge and I am looking forward to making the most of any business to business opportunities that may arise during the day to day running of a trial."
The ClinPhone Group now employs around 300 people worldwide. It retains its global headquarters in Nottingham in the United Kingdom, but has three facilities in the United States, in New Jersey, Chicago and San Francisco and a central European office in Brussels, Belgium.
