Out With The Old And In With The New - But Awards Keep Coming For ClinPhone
- February 4, 2002
Nottingham firm ClinPhone Group has begun the New Year with a second major award in two months.
The company, which has headquarters in Nottingham and operations in the United States and Europe, has secured the overall top spot in the East Midlands ICT (Information Communication Technology) Awards.
ClinPhone took top spot in the category for 'Best use of ICT to improve Customer Service'. Nominated by Browne Jacobson, the business uses innovative Internet and telephone technology developed to manage the data collected in global pharmaceutical clinical trials.
The latest award arrived hot on the heels of a major success in the Government-backed 2001 Languages for Export Awards, where ClinPhone beat off the competition of 200 other entries from across the country to win the Creative Options award - which recognised the company's blend of foreign language and IT to create a state of the art multi-lingual Interactive Voice Response system used by the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.
The East Midlands ICT Awards commend local businesses which have transformed their organisation through the use of Information Communication Technology. The awards, now in their second year, are organised by the East Midlands Network Ltd (EMNET) with the support of the East Midlands Development Agency (emda). The judging panel included investment specialists 3i and consultants KPMG.
Patrick Hughes, Director of Marketing and Business Development, was delighted with the latest award, commenting: "Success in the ICT awards reinforces ClinPhone's on-going commitment to providing service excellence for our blue-chip client base.
