Perceptive Informatics, Inc. Announces the Senior Managerial Appointments of Kurt Norris and Chris Couch


Boston, MA, 30 April 2001 -- Perceptive Informatics, Inc. a division of PAREXEL International (Nasdaq: PRXL) announced today the appointment of Kurt J. Norris as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Norris will be responsible for guiding the growth and profitability of Perceptive Informatics. In addition, Chris W. Couch has joined Perceptive Informatics as Vice President of e-Services. Mr. Couch will be responsible for overseeing Perceptive's Voice and Data Group, including interactive voice response systems (IVRS) and electronic data capture tools as well as the Web Solutions Group, which manages the delivery of a range of web-based solutions.

Mr. Norris brings to Perceptive Informatics 15 years of experience guiding organizations through periods of rapid growth and development. He joins Perceptive with a depth of experience from the healthcare, financial services and building materials industries. Most recently, he served as a Financial Advisor and Consultant assisting management teams in technology and healthcare related industries. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Norris held leadership positions in finance with Primecare International, Inc. and Caremark International, Inc.

Mr. Couch is an experienced high-technology executive with software consulting and healthcare information technology experience. Most recently, Mr. Couch was Vice President of Distribution at CareTools, Inc. where he was responsible for accelerating the development of Internet based products and for developing relationships with third parties involved in the implementation of health care solutions. Prior to assuming this role, he was Vice President of Operations at CareTools, Inc. and served as Vice President at Symmetrix, Inc.
