Boston, MA, June 14, 2004 - Perceptive Informatics, Inc., a subsidiary of PAREXEL International Corporation (Nasdaq: PRXL), and a provider of innovative technology-based solutions designed to accelerate drug development, today announced the availability of a web-hosted version of IMPACTT, Perceptive's industry-leading clinical trials management system (CTMS). Hosting enables companies interested in minimizing their technology infrastructures to adopt IMPACT and access its capabilities over the web. The hosted version provides bio/pharmaceutical and medical device clients with access to web-based IMPACT in a reliable, secure and cost effective environment.
IMPACT is the most broadly used enterprise wide CTMS, with over 15,000 end-users and is currently used by half of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. IMPACT provides online accessibility to critical trial management data enabling clients to better administer the complex process of conducting clinical trials. Its integrated application modules include trial management and planning, monitoring activities and clinical cost and supplies tracking. Also included in this offering is INVESTIGATORT, a leading investigator database solution. In addition, IMPACT is integrated with Perceptive VoiceT, the Company's interactive voice response system (IVRS), and Perceptive PortalT, a clinical development oriented portal that provides access to critical online information.
