VivoQuant 6.0 February 2026 Release
VivoQuant™ 6.0 is a complete infrastructure overhaul featuring the latest libraries and deep performance optimizations for the most commonly used operations. This release also includes improved repository management, enhanced 3D custom controls, and improved high-resolution adaptive user interfaces, among many other upgrades.
Streamlined Data Browser & Repository Overhaul
We’ve completely redesigned the Repository component to help you manage local and remote data sources more efficiently. New features include the ability to “Favorite” projects, search across repositories, and easily manage Local Disk, iPACS or DICOM server connections.
Automatic Min/Max Visualization Optimization
Maximize voxel contrast immediately upon loading. This release introduces histogram-based windowing that automatically adjusts the initial visualization. This non-destructive process can be easily toggled in the Display preferences or undone via the Data Manager.
Enhanced 3D Camera & View Controls
Gain precise control over your 3D MIP views with new rotation increments and hotkeys. Users can now rotate the camera in 5°, 15°, or 45° increments using arrow key modifiers and quickly reset the view with Shift + R. A new global hotkey also allows for instant re-rendering of the 3D view.
User Control of Output Dimensions
Ensure consistent image and movie quality across different machines. You now have full visibility and control over pixel dimensions before saving. The interface helps you maintain aspect ratios while achieving the specific resolution required for your publications or presentations.
Improved UI Adaptability & Scaling
We’ve optimized the user interface to handle high-DPI scaling (e.g., 150% on laptops). Panels and widgets now re-flow intelligently to prevent content from being cut off, minimizing the need for scrollbars and ensuring a glitch-free experience on resized windows.
